Remsie: Terms of Use, EULA & Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 27, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Remsie ("we," "us," or "our"), the provider of the App, governing your use of the Remsie mobile application (the "App"), including its optional public feed. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
This document also serves as the App's End User License Agreement (EULA) and includes our Community Guidelines (Section 7), which govern content you publish to the public feed.
1. The Service
Remsie lets you record a spoken description of a dream and generates an animated video interpretation of it using artificial intelligence. The App transcribes your recording, interprets it, and produces images and video from that interpretation. The App also offers an optional public feed where you may choose to publish individual dreams for other users to watch, and where you can watch dreams others have chosen to share.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App, including to publish to or browse the public feed. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
3. AI-Generated Content and Its Limitations
Please read this section carefully.
Remsie uses generative artificial intelligence, including large language models and video-generation models. These systems are probabilistic and interpretive. They do not reproduce your input literally.
This means:
- The video Remsie generates may not match what you described, what you intended, or what you expected. The output is a creative interpretation, not an accurate or faithful reproduction of your words.
- Generative models can produce unexpected, inaccurate, nonsensical, or unintended content (sometimes called "hallucinations"). This is an inherent characteristic of the technology, not a malfunction.
- The same input may produce different results on different attempts.
- We do not guarantee that any specific element you describe will appear, appear correctly, or appear at all.
The App is intended for personal, creative, and entertainment purposes. You should not rely on its output as an accurate record, representation, or depiction of anything. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, fidelity, suitability, or quality of generated content.
4. Accounts
Sign-in is required. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Some features of the App require a paid subscription. The available subscription options, prices, free allowances (if any), and billing periods are presented in the App at the point of purchase and may vary by region. By subscribing, you authorize the applicable recurring charge.
- Billing through Apple. Subscriptions are sold as Apple In-App Purchases and billed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions are auto-renewable. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and Apple charges your account, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. You can view, manage, and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions in the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription, and deleting your Remsie account does not cancel your Apple subscription. You must cancel it separately through the App Store.
- Refunds. Subscription purchases are handled by Apple. Except where required by law or by Apple's policies, fees are non-refundable; you can request a refund directly through Apple.
- Price changes. We may change subscription pricing. Where required, Apple will seek your consent to a price increase before it takes effect; any change will not affect a period you have already paid for.
6. Your Content and the License You Grant
"Your Content" means the recordings and descriptions you submit, and the dreams you choose to publish to the feed.
- You represent that you have the right to submit and (if you choose) publish Your Content, and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
- You grant us a license to process, store, transcribe, and use Your Content as needed to operate the App and provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Feed license. When you publish a dream to the public feed, you additionally grant us, and other users of the App, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that dream's video, title, and themes within the App's feed, for as long as it remains published. This license ends when you un-share the dream or delete it or your account, except that copies others already viewed or that remain briefly cached cannot be recalled. This feed license does not extend to your voice recording or transcript, which are never published.
7. Community Guidelines (Content Rules for the Public Feed)
The public feed is a shared, all-ages-16+ space. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for the most harmful content. You agree not to create, submit, or publish content that:
- Is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Depicts, sexualizes, or endangers minors in any way. Child sexual abuse material is reported to NCMEC or the appropriate authorities and results in immediate removal and account termination.
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic.
- Depicts graphic violence, gore, or content intended to shock or disgust.
- Is hateful, harassing, threatening, or that demeans people on the basis of a protected characteristic.
- Reveals private or identifying information about a real person ("doxxing"), or defames a real, identifiable individual. (Casual mentions of names and references to public figures are permitted; targeted harm to a real person is not.)
- Infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Is spam, a scam, or otherwise misleading.
Moderation and enforcement. Dreams are screened by automated moderation before and after publishing. We may down-rank, remove, or refuse to publish content, and may suspend a user's ability to share or terminate an account, at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.
Reporting. Every item in the feed can be reported. Reporting flags the dream for our review, and permanently removes that dream and that dreamer from your feed. We review reports and act on content that violates these Guidelines. Reporting is available to all users and is never paywalled.
Contact. Questions, appeals, or reports of content you believe violates these Guidelines: support@remsie.ai.
8. Acceptable Use of the App
In addition to the Community Guidelines above, you agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, probe, or circumvent the App or its systems, or to misuse the reporting feature (for example, to harass another user or to silence content in bad faith).
9. Ownership of Generated Videos
As between you and us, you own the videos Remsie generates from Your Content, for your personal use, subject to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the terms of the underlying AI providers. If you publish a dream to the feed, you grant the feed license described in Section 6.
Note: AI-generated output may have limited or no copyright protection under current law, and the terms of the AI providers we use (see our Privacy Policy) may impose their own conditions on generated content. We do not guarantee any particular ownership or rights in generated output.
We own the App itself, including its software, design, branding, and the Remsie name and marks. These Terms do not grant you any rights in those.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations. See Section 3 regarding AI-generated content.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, content, or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content (including anything you publish to the feed), your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (including the licenses you granted for already-distributed content, ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, notify you in the App or ask you to re-accept. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
16. Apple-Specific Terms
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent applicable: Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App; Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual-property claims; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
